at Cheez & Cracker Box in Bamberg!!!
Drop off your donations at the Advertizer-Herald, 369 McGee St.
Bamberg from M-F 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
OR the Bamberg County Chamber of Commerce at the Airport
between Bamberg & Denmark on M-Th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
If you need a pickup call the Chamber at 803-245-4427 or 803-535-9918 and someone will come.
Make sure you fill out a slip to be entered into the Give-Away Drawing. The Advertizer-Herald will be giving away (2)6-month subscriptions and a gift basket on June 17.
The Bamberg Post Office did not participate in the Annual Food Drive Project this year.
The food collected by the post office has always been donated to the Cheez and Cracker Box.
The Cheez and & Cracker received 12 bags of food, instead of the usual 200 or more.
The Cheez & Cracker Box then distributes this food (and clothing) to many families at
no cost to them. Individual monetary donations, churches, and organizations make this
service possible. So please dig deep and donate!

Due to bridge out, a detour is marked in Denmark.
But you can still just drive through the detour signs. The hospital is on the Bamberg side of the bridge.

Alzheimer's Support Group Meeting Planned (in Orangeburg)

At 12:30 p.m. They meet the third Tuesday of each month.

The Denmark Train Depot Christmas Ornament, depicting the train station with a train parked beside it,
and a man on a horse beside the train. Established 1891. In color with a creamy background.
This ornament was the second of the series and dated 2003. $5.00

Journey through Time booklet, descriptions/histories of many of the older/historical houses/churches

It is never too early to mark your calendar and plan to attend the events listed here. There are many other great events that are planned by groups and organizations all over Bamberg County. The Chamber is making a list of all events like festivals, concerts, plays or fundraisers to share with as many people as we can, both inside and outside of Bamberg County. Everyone is encouraged to email their event information as soon as they schedule an event so we can get it on a list of upcoming events.
